Z Grills tend to hold a very accurate temperature as long as you keep the lid closed. If you keep lifting and closing the lid the temperature will spike and fall. The idea is to set it and forget it!

No, actually the grill surface is porcelain coated stainless steel. This makes Z Grills much easier to clean and maintain.
Not currently. As of right now, Z Grills are only designed to work with wood pellets.

We usually tell people to ignite the grill, close the lid, and walk away for about 10 to 15 min. to let the grill heat up. That’s usually plenty of time but it also depends on how hot you are warming the grill up to. Obviously, it takes longer to warm the grill up to 450ºF then it does to 180ºF.

Not to mention, you can change out the type of wood pellets whenever you want to get a different flavor. This helps when you grill a lot!
